It's a(nother) Boy!
Bright and early this morning we learned of the birth of yet another grandson.
His name is officially Solomon Turner, but his dad says he's called Sol.
Sol was supposed to arrive July 4th, but he apparently got bored and decided now was the time.
From the early pix, he looks fit and healthy. He weighed in at 7 lbs 10 oz, and is already making his presence known out west.
We are thrilled to welcome him to the family and looking forward to meeting him in person about a month from now.

Congratulations to you and your family, Anne. What a beautiful healthy looking baby boy and love the name. Is this Ellies' brother?
Chris.
Hi Chris,
Thank you! No, this is Ellie's cousin. Henry is her brother. He was born back in April.
Awwww, just gorgeous, Anne! How lucky are you!
Welcome to the world, little Sol.
xx
So gorgeous! I bet mum's pleased that he's prompt :)
Trish, thank you. We are feeling very blessed indeed.
Lacey, thanks. Yes, mum is very happy to be through it all. She had a hard time. But everyone reckons he's worth it.
Wohoo Anne! Congrats... you can never have too many boys in my opinion. Or that's what I tell myself now I've got three of them :) Gorgeous pic!
Thanks, Rach. I agree. We've got three of our own, and six grandsons now. The girls are feeling decidedly outnumbered (though they're very special, too!).
He looks lovely and obviously wanted to be a June baby.
How many grandchildren in total do you have now? It is fantastic that your family is growing like that.
So many different stories/branches coming from one tree.
Congrats, Anne and family - and thanks for sharing those lovely pics!
Congratulations to you and yours, Anne! Sol looks so gorgeous.
Cluck...
Lots of love,
Rach.

Michelle, Thank you. Yes, I always thought Sol would want to be a June baby, even though my grandfather was a 4th of July child and loved the festivities of that day. That makes 8 grandkids -- 6 boys and 2 girls. It is interesting seeing the various branches of the tree.
Kate, Thank you for the good wishes.
Rach, Thank you. We're pretty fond of him! Even Charley thinks he's cool.
Congrats on another addition to the family.
hopefully he continues on the being early streak. Many men could learn from him LOL
Aaah, bless! Congratulations, Anne.
Christa, You're sooo right! Thanks.
Liz, Thank you. He's a very special little boy.

Congratulations Anne. What a lovely little boy! Still a mother of young children, I really look forward to all the special times ahead. I think being a grandparent must be wonderful!
Thank you, Carol. There will be lots of special times ahead for you. And yes, grandparenting is wonderful -- even though it would be more wonderful if we didn't have to cross half the country to get to most of them! Still, we're delighted to have them wherever they are.
