Thanks, Lis! It's a huge relief. Also it was fun. Not all the head-banging stuff I went through earlier. But the last chapter is always fun because I know the people so well by now and they have so much at stake. It's lovely when it all comes together like that -- especially when they get their happy ending before 4:00 in the morning!
Thanks, Michelle! Big relief. Thought I'd have to stick a dagger through the book to keep it from going on and on and on. The last chapter wouldn't quit. They always had more to say. This from a couple who wouldn't open their mouths for months!
Congratulations - and huge sighs of relief. Now you can sleep, and take Gunnar and co for walks and sleep, and prepare for your visit to the UK - and sleep!
Congratulations on herding all those ducks out the door. I'll raise a mug of tea in celebration
Kate and Kathleen, Thank you! And now I've discovered that their email system was down and I went off confident that the last gasp had arrived only to learn this morning that it hadn't. But fortunately their system is back up and it's all there now! Whew!
Congratulations Anne! It's been great reading about the journey you've been on with Spence and Sadie (I confess I'm playing catch-up with my blog reading at the moment due to being unwell and my laptop breaking).
I envy your 10 chapters. At the rate I'm going (just started Ch. 7 btw) I still have another 10 chapters to go!!
Thanks. I remember not long ago when you were just on chapter four. So you've done well indeed. Hope you are feeling better -- and that the laptop is, too!
Thanks, Annie! The blog ducks are neater than the Spence and Sadie ducks. But at least they were making sense the last time I saw them. I just hope they continue to do so for the editor.
NOTE: Please be aware that we are in the process of updating Anne's blog. For the next few days it is possible you might see some quirky things but we hope to make the changes as seamless as possible.

Hooray for Spence and Sadie and their ducks!
