Mads on Monday

Over on the Pink Heart blog, I've got a Male on Monday slot today.

You know what that means: the onerous task of researching potential heroes.

Ah well, somebody's got to do it.

And ever since I saw him in Casino Royale, I've been looking for a hero to be Mads Mikkelsen (who was a great villain in CR). I haven't found one yet (I don't think). But I'm still looking.

And in the meantime, I decided to share him with the Pink Heart readers.

I already shared him with Michelle Styles who cast him in one of her Victorian historicals.

Which one, Michelle? And when is it coming out? I can hardly wait to read it.

Anyway, I promised the Pink Heart readers that I'd put up a few more photos over here. So that's why Mads is here (if he needed another reason).

Enjoy. Each pic is worth 1000 words, you know. Consider that I wrote a lot today. And even more on the Pink Heart blog. And there are a lot of good pix there.

An Impulsive Debutante is coming out in September 08 in the UK.
I got to reread it while doing the aa's just before Christmas. It is quite fun, and part of it was because Mads proved such inspiration. It is that quiet way of moving. That centre of control.

I wonder if that's the physical gymnastics and dance background he has, Michelle. I'm looking forward to reading it!

Thank you Anne for the eye candy. You really do know how to make me drool.

Is Michelles book going to be released in the US? With Mads as the inspiration, I'd love to read it.

The other Mads:)

I watched After the Wedding on your recommendation Anne, and really liked it. He was so lovely in it too... really heroic.

I'm just emerging from the deadline cave for a few moments so have only just caught up on your last few posts. Want to shout up and say HELLO because I always read your blog and love it (almost as much as I love your books...!)

(if this comment appears twice please forgive-- just tried to post and lost it!)

Madeline, I believe Michelle's book will be coming out in the US as a Harlequin Historical, but I don't know for sure, and I don't know the pub date. Maybe you can check on Amazon. That's what I'll be doing, unless I can coerce Michelle or Kate (who buys me UK books when I need her to) to send me one.

India, I'm so glad you enjoyed After the Wedding, too. I really liked it -- and especially liked Mads in it. It was a real change from LeChiffre. He has great range and he puts so much humanity in his portrayal of all the roles I've seen him in.
Thanks, too, for the kind words on my books and my blog. I'm very glad you've been enjoying them. I have yours on my 'subscriber' feed as well. Now I just have to find time to read the blogs I subscribe to!

And no, you're only here once. But you're always welcome. Thanks for stopping by.
